This Week’s Higgledy-piggledy
June 18, 2017Links, bits, bobs
On Spain’s (and other countries’) great movement to reclaim politics through the cities:
Which led to:
- Fearless Cities — the Barcelona en Comú-supported coalition of cities behind the International Municipalist Summit that one of the articles above talks about
- Muitas — the movement that won the municipal elections in Belo Horizonte in Brazil, also part of the Fearless Cities coalition; look at one of their great campaign clips
- PAH — Plataforma de Afectados por la Hipoteca — the movement in which Ada Colau was active before becoming Barcelona’s mayor
- The Opening Talks of the Fearless Cities conference in Barcelona
